Bladder Bag

Ed ecco la bladder bag finita. La parte superiore è in pelle decorata a perline con varie tecniche, foderata all'interno con panno rosso. La parte inferiore è ricavata dalla vescica di un giovane bisonte che mi è stata donata, a cui ho aggiunto una rosetta. Come dice la canzone alla fine: "All we need is just a little patience".

And this is the completed bladder bag. The upper part is made with hide decorated with various techniques and lined inside with red cloth. The lower part is drawn by the bladder of a young bison that has been given to me, to which I have added a "Bull's eye". As the song say at the end: "All we need is just a little patience."

L'arte della pazienza

Come ho avuto modo di dire il decoro a perline è un arte che richiede pazienza. Occorre mantenere una certa concentrazione durante il lavoro e saper attendere del tempo per vedere il proprio risultato. Ma è anche un modo per seguire ritmi che ormai non esistono più. Potersi concentrare sul processo di creazione, come mi è stato spiegato, è altrettanto importante della creazione stessa. Queste nella foto a seguire sono le varie parti di una mia borsa ancora da finire. E' realizzata con pelle, panno di lana rosso e con perline in misura 12/0 e 14/0 di inizio 900. Quella che assemblata sarà la parte inferiore è ricavata dalla vescica di un giovane bisonte.

As I have said the beadwork is a kind of art that needs patience.
It's necessary to maintain a certain concentration and to know how to attend some time to see the finally result.
But it's also a way to follow rhythms that don't exist anymore. To be able to assemble in the process of creation, as it has been explained me, it's important as the same creation. This on the next picture is one not still ended purse of mine.
It's realized with hide, red cloth inside and beads in size 12/0 and 14/0 of the beginning of '900.
